UWE Snowsports socials have the well earned reuptation of being the biggest and best out of any club at UWE, so much so we need an entirely different night to hold them!
This year we've moved to the far more convenient Thursday night slot and as usual we will be opening with our notoriously messy White Night! On 29th September Walkabout bar Bristol we will be adorned from head to toe in honour of Snowsports favourite form of percipitation, the more outlandish the fancy dress, the better - it's been proven that 50% of having a good time is looking amazing!
We will have ski funnels, boat races and more banter & debauchery than an A-List party at an Italian Prime Ministers holiday home. The themes continue with our sexy ski wear night to don the retro onesie and the infamous tight and bright soiree with more neon spandex than Fame (or Brad on a Saturday night). Hope to see you there!
With drinks prices at near rock bottom, ski & snowboard movies on the projectors and plenty of snowsports freebies available from the committee for Jäger based bribes, the Snowsports socials are UWE's most unique as a night out as we blend Bristol’s music scene with Alpine après raving. Expect dancing on tables, chanting, dancing, lunge offs reverse fist pumping and sporadic nudity all the way into the early hours.

Walkabout Bristol is extremely easy to find, it's located on Corn Street and is always lit up so you won't have any trouble spotting it once you're there.
The U-Link buses all stop on Rupert Street and it's just a short walk to Walkabout from there.
For the first few socials we will be meeting in one of the SU bars so everyone can get to know each other before we catch the bus down into the city center.
